This is very individual and depends on how much work is to be delegated. The best way to determine how much time is needed is to make a list of all the tasks that take you away from the business of building your business and the things that you do best and enjoy the most. Discuss this list with Kathryn, and together you can make a determination as to the hours needed each month. Usually clients are reluctant to part with tasks early in the relationship. Once their trust has grown, the total number of hours may be adjusted up to accommodate the new areas of delegation.
How much does it cost?
Kathryn works with clients on an hourly basis, with a discount offered for clients who commit to a minimum number of hours per month. Since using Done Virtually doesn't incur overhead charges or employee benefits and taxes, the rate is very competitive with the costs of hiring a temp or part-time employee. Kathryn will be happy to discuss rates with you, and you are not committed to any arrangement by calling for more information.
How long a commitment do I have to make?
Hopefully, this will be a long-term relationship that is so beneficial you commit to an indefinite period of time. However, Done Virtually does not require a minimum term, feeling it is best that both parties have the right to terminate at any time - even if only after one month.
How can I be comfortable working with someone I have never met?
Developing a "virtual" business relationship requires an element of trust on both sides. The initial interview is critical in determining how compatible you are with the virtual assistant. If you are reluctant to entrust private infrmation, allow time to develop trust in your VA before moving up to that level of trust.
What limits on work assignments does Done Virtually have?
Done Virtually is not a telephone marketing service or a stenographer. Kathryn will not work with a client who requests that illegal, unethical or immoral tasks be accomplished. While the company will help clients with entries into QuickBooks or Quicken and keep expense records, etc., it does not provide professional bookkeeping or accounting services.
